A new guy!
Greetings all! Call me Cynicalman, in name but not in spirit. I happened upon this forum in the hopes of finding a proper haberdasher. I have an old felt fedora from the 1940's, a gift from my father, and it is in need of some TLC. It could use a cleaning, perhaps re-blocking, and a headband inside and out. I live in Virginia, but the only place I have found that actually repairs hats is in Arizona. I would love to find something closer. If there is a storefront, virtual or RL, closer to the VA/DC area, I would love to hear about it. Google is oddly useless in my search so far, though it did happily bring me here.
