Recent Log-in Numbers

Dear Friends,

It has been correctly observed that the number of log-ins to the forum has been light of late.

I wonder if it is because many people were just wanting to observe the fight.

I have noted that there are two kinds of people who seem to be around when one person is in a fight against two or more. This is the classic not-fair fight... the several ganging-up-on-one fight That is what I refer to here.

So while the fight is going on....

There are the people who stand by and watch the fight out of amusement or cowardice, or even just morbid curiosity.

That is one group.

The other group (always much smaller) wades in to either break up the fight or even the odds.

Now, of the two, who usually stays around after the fight, and who turns away?

The amused and curious have no more show to watch. The cowards who were hoping for the bullies success slink off to join that bunch later and tell them how great they are.

The other group now has common cause. They may become allies and friends.

So do you think that the number of log-ins might be due to this phenomenon, or am I a coprophage?
