Damn them people. Praise them people.

Well I have had a run for my money this time and I am bruised and cut up a bit but I am not dead and ( like spotted horse) I cannot be killed with bullets.

Yes I am back on line here and all drives go finally. No I am not even close to having a full system going again and am only working on a temp cd till mine arrives another day late tomorrow.

I have a few fans to replace and I still have some drives to mount (physically in the machine) not virtual drives but have some of them to mount as well.

So the story was that my bios was way out of date on the mother board and while I could get up in some configs. I could not get up in the one I wanted up in.

Finding the bios was like looking for hens teeth and then the old flash built in on this MOBO would not work and while the new AWD flash was right under my eyes under the new Bios I like to never have found it as well and when I did they had bad instructions with it and so I almost did not make it work.

End of the story is that I am on XP now and no more win2k and will master this project and I am running for now at least.

Will get a 2 terrabyte external drive and then I will delete and format my last mirrored drive and stripe it and may be down again but I doubt it now my bios is current.

I am setting this machine up for pure performace and no safetly and going for the external for safety and going to make this puppy scream.

You have no idea just how good it feels to finally win this battle after it tryed to defeat me for a week solid.

Dr. Kussin will be in Clintwood tomorrow and we will visit here tomorrow evening and maybe next day and share a laugh or two and then I will be back on this devil and pound it sorely into submission.
