Well not sure anyone recalls when Thomas came in to apprentice here but what a disaster that was! At least we did block me two hats... Never finished them of course but never finished them! Well during this storm waiting for yesterdays blocked hats to dry the master informed me that she was willing to make my hat(s) but cost would be same as everyone's else she was working on and she appreciated all the labors I had put in already but the price was not changed due to it.

I am thinking but not telling what a bargain!!!! at twice the price!

So I tell her to start me off with that Dark olive in 2500X and make my ribbon in commando and bind it in 4 ligne to match and go tall and wide!

I am going bold on this one! I am going with a full 6 inch crown and a 2 3/4 brim and I am going deep dish diamond! This is going to be my stepping out hat.

Oh I know you will not believe that my 7 1/2- 7 5/8 LO head is not reduced to just under 7 1/2 due to brain shrinking but it is. We will get it done some how and I am ever so glad to man up and pay to get me a hat made after all these years needing one in this color range!!!

May put me a stripe of Grey in the bow and may not ...
