Is the hat coming back?

I watch very liitle TV, but what I am seeing suggests that the fedora is making a comback. In no special order, I note that The Observers on "Fringe" are wearing stingy brims, and that the lead character Neal on "White Collar" wears a nice model of that type. Of course, fuller fedoras abound on "Caprica."

Are there other shows where there are regulars who are fedora wearers.

Locally, I believe there has been an uptick in the number of gents my age and older who are wearing fedoras, although they seem stuck with the ones they can find locally, which are generally more of the... blast, how to describe them... poor canvas imitations of Tilley Endurables type hats.

I will not knock Tilley's. For lightweight high summer I sometimes wear T5, and I have a first generation Tilley that is old enough to vote.

So, again, where are hats showing uop these days?
