I mourn the loss

We were commissioned to replace 300 hats for George Guldi he had collected since college with Sterling Beaver hats. We started making hats for George prior to even the old forums. We got his order all filled but the one that took me 3 years to get the felt for and I have had it two years now and never made the hat still. I am sure George may appreciate getting it now. I have a call in to George and hope to take his return call this after noon.

George has been through a lot and a lot of media scrutiny of recent that I am positive is all bull shit as he is one of the finest men I have ever known.

He taught me many lessons including the first one the day he ordered his first dozen hats.

He said, before we complete this deal you have to agree to one thing. You have to agree to make a fair profit on every hat I order so when I need more hats you will be in business to make them.

Time and again ( and I may not should disclose this) I ran up on deals on hat shops and such and George time and again sent me untold 1000's of dollars to go and get them with and always only said we will make up in hats and no contracts required.

George had a house fire recently to add to the litany of other issues he faces.

I support George fully in all he does and know the rest is political smearing and bull shit. He is a fine man and we hope to replace any hats he chooses with even better ones with the fine felts we have now adays.
